

GRINDER / LABORER Full Time, Hourly
A structural steel fabricator located in Minocqua, Wisconsin is seeking an ambitious, dependable individual to fill the position of our Finish Grinder. We offer reliable, year round work along with a competitive wage based on experience.
Responsibilities:

Operation of pneumatic and electric grinders / sanders
-
Finish grinding and sanding of completed product to meet Company standards
-
Packaging finished product for shipment
-
Ordering of grinding and sanding discs so as to maintain stock at all times
-
Maintenance of grinders and sanders
-
Assist in the paint department as needed
-
Prepare surfaces for coating
-
Operate all equipment including guns, sprayers, and mixers
-
Package finished products for shipment
-

Operate CNC controlled machines to produce job parts used by our fabrication facility
-

Skills / Requirements:

Strong attention to detail

Proficient communication abilities

Attention to surroundings in a manufacturing environment; ability to pay attention to everything around you while keeping a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers

Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift which may be up to 10 hours

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis
Education / Experience:
-
Experience with either painting or grinding in an industrial setting is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right individual who shows ability to arrive on time, every day, and put in an honest days’ work

INDUSTRIAL PAINTER Full Time, Hourly
A structural steel fabricator located in Minocqua Wisconsin is currently seeking an ambitious, dependable individual to fill the position of our Industrial Painter. We offer year-round work and competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:

prepare surfaces for coating
-
operate all equipment including guns, sprayers, and mixers
-
verify mil thickness of primer applied to stay within project specs
-
package finished product for shipment
-
complete project paperwork for tracking and shipments
-
ordering of primer, spray gun tips, and other supplies to maintain a current supply
-
maintain all spray equipment
-
keep the spray department clean and organized
-
pay attention to safety precautions within the paint department
-
other duties will be required as necessary
Skills / Requirements:
-
strong attention to detail
-
ability to communicate supply needs in a timely manner
-
ability to lift 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Overhead cranes available for use if unable to meet limit requirements
-
strong attention to detail in a manufacturing environment; ability to maintain a safe workspace for yourself and coworkers
Education / Experience:
-
those with industrial painting experience will be given preference, although this is not required
