FABRICATOR / WELDER Full Time, Hourly
We are looking for an ambitious welder to join our team. We offer reliable, year-round work, with overtime, along with a competitive wage based on experience.
Responsibilities:

Read blueprints effectively and weld steel in accordance with the blueprints
-
Weld efficiently with flux core and hard wire utilizing wire feed welder
-
Accurately operate an oxy-acetylene torch when necessary
-
Use a tape measure to ensure accuracy
-
Other duties will be expected, when necessary. The above duties are not all-inclusive
Skills / Requirements:
-
Ability to read blueprints for structural and miscellaneous members
-
Experience with small hand tools (angle grinders, sanders, mag drills) would be beneficial
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
-
Strong attention to surroundings in a hazardous environment. Must pay attention to everything around you and maintain a safe workspace for yourself and coworkers
-
Requires you to be on your feet for the entire shift you are scheduled to work
-
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds consistently
Education / Experience:
-
A solid mechanical background is preferred
-
Must be able to obtain, or already hold, a state certification in flux-core welding

CNC / MACHINE OPERATOR Full Time, Hourly
We are seeking a detailed, highly motivated individual to fill a position in our parts production facility.
Typical duties include:
-
Responsible for the operation of various CNC controlled machines to produce the job specific parts used by our fabrication facility.
- 3 spindle CNC drill line
-
Plasma / Oxy fuel burn table
-
325 ton press brake
-
Angle and flat bar processor
-
60 degree miter saw
-
You will be expected to have the ability to diagnose any machine issues that may arise, or perform “manual” programming functions as needed
-
Adhere to all Quality standards and documentation requirements
-
Ability to stand for long periods at a time with ability to life 25 pounds frequently
Skills desired:
-
Experience with CNC controlled equipment
-
Blueprint reading skills
-
Proficient use of a tape measure along with shop math skills
-
Familiar with the use of overhead / jib cranes
-
Knowledgeable in the use of grinders, drills, cutters, and basic hand tools
-
strong attention to detail in a hazardous environment; ability to maintain a safe work space for yourself and coworkers
Although the above skills are desired, we are willing to train any individual willing to put forth the effort to learn these new skills and be able to show up for work every day, on time, to be a successful team member.
The above duties are not all-inclusive; additional general duties in other parts of our plant will be assigned as needed.

INDUSTRIAL PAINTER Full Time, Hourly
A structural steel fabricator located in Minocqua Wisconsin is currently seeking an ambitious, dependable individual to fill the position of our Industrial Painter. We offer year-round work and competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:

prepare surfaces for coating
-
operate all equipment including guns, sprayers, and mixers
-
verify mil thickness of primer applied to stay within project specs
-
package finished product for shipment
-
complete project paperwork for tracking and shipments
-
ordering of primer, spray gun tips, and other supplies to maintain a current supply
-
maintain all spray equipment
-
keep the spray department clean and organized
-
pay attention to safety precautions within the paint department
-
other duties will be required as necessary
Skills / Requirements:
-
strong attention to detail
-
ability to communicate supply needs in a timely manner
-
ability to lift 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Overhead cranes available for use if unable to meet limit requirements
-
strong attention to detail in a hazardous environment; ability to maintain a safe workspace for yourself and coworkers
Education / Experience:
-
those with industrial painting experience will be given preference, although this is not required
